Hi! My name is Susana, I´m the creater behind UglyducksDesign amazing Stained Glass Art!
Since I can remember I have always enjoyed spending time drawing, painting and
creating all sorts of crafts I could imagine.
Since I discovered the art of glass painting and stained glass making in 2017, I haven't stop
creating new designs. Around a year later UglyducksDesign
was born and its now mainly devoted to commissioned work.
The result of this passion is what I am here sharing with you,
hoping that you too, will enjoy it as much as I do!

About the Technique
Tiffany Technique - A glass assembly technique invented
by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1893),
who was himself inspired by the ancient tradition of glassmaking.
The Tiffany technique stained glass is a method of forming a decorative design
for home decorative items, windows, lamps,
or even jewelry by wrapping the patterned pieces of glass with thin copper foil and
then soldering them all together to
create gorgeous art.
It is a technique inspired by the marvelous cathedral windows.
